Adam Z. Goldberg, DMD
You could say Dr. Adam Goldberg is a homegrown dentist. He always viewed working in the dental field not only as a way of carrying on the torch by becoming a third generation dentist, but also satisfying an interest in business that began at age 5.
At that age, Dr. Goldberg’s neighbor was a vice president of the company that made Solo cups. He would go to the neighbor’s house and watch the nightly business report.
Dr. Goldberg went to the University of Georgia as a business major, but eventually switched to biology and went on to graduate from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Being a dentist has provided him an opportunity to own a business while getting to work alongside his father.
This Augusta dentist enjoys his role in changing the perception of dentistry by providing comprehensive dental treatments in a comfortable, pain-free manner.
“It’s common for a patient to come in fearful because of a bad experience in the past, but to leave here smiling and telling us the treatment wasn’t as bad as they had imagined,” Dr. Goldberg says.
Dr. Goldberg’s treatments include everything from scaling and root planing for periodontal health, to partials, crowns, and even Invisalign orthodontic treatment. Dr. Goldberg also uses Smile-Vision, a cosmetic imaging system that shows our patients how their smiles would appear after cosmetic dental treatments.
His professional memberships include:
- Georgia Dental Association
- American Dental Association
- Eastern District Dental Society
- Augusta Dental Society- vice president
- Academy of General Dentistry
- Dawson Academy
In addition to the passion and energy he brings to our practice, Dr. Goldberg also brings plenty of enthusiasm in his support of the Augusta community. He serves on the board of Symphony Orchestra Augusta and the Georgia Regents University alumni board.
Dr. Goldberg is married to Megan. In his spare time, he enjoys playing piano and golf. He also enjoys wine, cooking, and playing with his Springer Spaniel, Millie.
